Wizlings: an AI cartoon content pipeline

Human check at every stage

One-off AI prompts give you a different-looking character every time. A pipeline gives you the same wizard, the same tone, every week.

01 · The Problem

Slow to make, random when rushed

Making kids' animated stories on a regular schedule is slow.

One-off AI prompts make it worse, not better: the characters drift from video to video, and the tone jumps around. Kids notice when a character suddenly looks different.

02 · The Setup

A pipeline with a human check at every stage

Eight stages, the same every time. AI does the heavy lifting inside each stage. I make the call at the end of each one.

Kid-facing content stays on Wizlings. Maker and AI talk goes to my separate Emergent Content channel. That keeps Wizlings clean for young viewers and for YouTube's "made for kids" rules.

03 · The Steps

The trailer, stage by stage

  1. Story idea. The trailer's premise: a grumpy king ("Make bad spells… or ELSE!"), a wizard on the run who hides inside a fluffy Pomeranian, and a surprise magic vacation.
  2. Script. AI drafts the beats. I rewrite for a kid's ear: short lines, one joke at a time.
  3. Character sheets. Locked designs for the King, the wizard, and the Pomeranian, so every scene matches.
  4. AI scenes. Generated from the sheets. Off-model frames get thrown out, not "fixed in post."
  5. Voice and captions. Captions burned in, checked word by word.
  6. Edit to 9:16 and 16:9. One edit, two shapes.
  7. Kid-safe review. My checklist pass. Nothing scary, nothing confusing, nothing that isn't for kids.
  8. Publish to YouTube @Wizlings and TikTok @wizlingstv.

Build an episode

Pick a character, a place, and a problem. The page assembles a 5-beat outline and lights up which pipeline stage each beat goes through next. It's all static text. No live AI call.
